I’m not here today 3

because I’m feeling Slightly Peckish in Borough Market! The lovely Kayoko from Umamimart has invited me to write a fortnightly column for her food blog which features some mouthwatering photos, recipes with a twist, sexy cocktails and some sassy writing, and as a lover of all things foodie, who was I to refuse? Umamimart is one of my favourite food blogs and never fails to perk up my day. You may recall I was Fridgin’ Out a few weeks back. So go on, check it out!
Book-wise, I’m trying to finish a couple of reviews, I’m in the middle of reading Stone in a Landslide by Maria Barbal published by Peirene Press which I’m enjoying slowly as it’s a rather slim book and one to savour, and trying to resurrect my Who’s Reading What feature which mysteriously disappeared into the aether. And of course I’m trying to finish The Dark Volume by G.W. Dahlquist and am continuing with A Very Great Profession by Nicola Beauman. Plus I picked up The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley at the library which I have been dying to read.
Am I reading too many books?

Ha ha, I have 4 books on the go (reading 2, listening to 2) so I know what you mean, but there are just too many books out there!
I am being sent Stone in a Landslide too so glad you’re enjoying it 🙂

It’s hard not to read too many books all at once. I’m struggling with that myself.
