In bookish news, I’ll be doing a series of giveaways this Summer starting at the end of this month with Leeswammes’ Blog’s Literary Giveaway Blog Hop as that’s just how I roll, followed by some Japanese and bloggiversary fun. Yup, it’s coming up to TWO years now on this blog. How time flies. So make sure you keep your eyes peeled!

I’m also finally getting back into the Malazan world and trying to finish the 5th volume Midnight Tides. It’s so easy to get distracted when you have lots of books, heh heh.

I promised myself I was going to cut down on the number of bookish talks I was going to go to this summer as I feel I’ve overindulged a tad and getting slightly addicted as they are so much fun. However, I couldn’t resist booking tickets to see Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, the doyenne of British astronomy, at the Southbank on July 12th since my favourite astronomer and very intelligent best friend G will also be in town. Anyway, you should all be wandering over to the Southbank to check out their spankingly amazing beach strip.
